How does a Facebook account (admin) join a new BM?

To join a BM as a Facebook account (admin), you first need a BM invitation link. How to get one:

How to accept and use a BM invitation link

1. Copy the BM invitation link

Copy the BM invitation link, open a new tab in the browser where your personal Facebook account is logged in, and paste the link to join.

2. Enter your personal FB account name

Enter the name of your personal FB account. Note: this is NOT the Page name (the personal account name is shown in the image below).

3. Copy your personal account name and paste it here

4. Click Continue

5. Click Accept Invitation

6. After joining, go to Business Manager

Visit Business Manager to view it; click the BM you joined to enter.

How does a BM generate an invitation link and add an admin?

1. Confirm admin permissions on the new BM

Make sure the admin of the new BM has granted you invitation permissions. The admin needs to log in to Business Manager and send the invitation.

In the "People" module, click "Invite Users".

Click Copy Email.

Enable permissions

Tick the assets

Tick the corresponding ad assets and assign permissions, then send the invitation.

Return to the temporary inbox and find the invitation link

Right-click "View Invitation"

Copy the link address to generate a new BM invitation link.

4. BM is restricted — how to switch to a new BM and continue running ads with the business ad account?

If you find your ad account status is normal but you can't create ads, the cause is a restricted BM. Go to the BM Business Settings page

(https://business.facebook.com/latest/settings/ad_accounts/) and you'll see the BM is down.

Solution:

1. Buy a new BM

2. Join the new BM

3. Bind the business ad account to the new BM and assign permissions to a user (yourself)

Step 1: Buy a new BM

Step 2: Join the new BM

Open your Facebook account. In the current browser tab, click the "+" to open a new tab (make sure the Facebook identity is switched to your personal account).

Paste and open the BM invitation link.

Click "Log in with Facebook".

Enter the current Facebook account holder's name.

After accepting the invitation, you'll usually land on this page — click "Go to Settings" or "Settings" to continue.

You'll enter the BM settings page (i.e. the BM management page):

Step 3: Bind the business ad account to the new BM and assign user (yourself) permissions:

Click "Business Info" and copy the Business Portfolio ID (i.e. the BM ID).

Open the https://leepsmart.agency media management page, find your active ad account, and click "Bind BM" (if you don't see an ad account list or this button, please contact your account manager to authorize it).

Paste the BM ID and click "Bind BM".

"Bind Successful" appears.

Return to the BM management page, click "Ad Accounts", select the ad account, and choose "Assign People".

Tick which person (yourself) to assign the ad account to.

After successful assignment, refresh the page, then click "Open in Ads Manager".

You'll enter the ad management page and can continue creating ads!
